i always wonder why people require morality to be based upon religion. people should have inherent trust in, and knowlegde of, what is right and good and true, based not on religious doctrine, but what they feel is best for themselves and for the world at large.
an angel that stayed abraham from killing isaac? maybe it was his love for his son. people will say that's a reflection of god's love. i say it was his own morality, not based on a religious belief, but something else entirely.
if people really need religion to help them judge what is right, then i feel there is something seriously wrong.
obama? he'll get any votes i can send his way.
